Its entirely up to you. When you decided to take up the challenge, you were fully aware of the challenges. If you feel you can move things and effect changes, albeit gradually, then so be it. if you feel you cannot move mountains, then you do it in a different way. or else you can call it quits and move on! Also there could be conflicts of interests, some issues could be ironed out beforehand with the powers-that be hahaha
